Pain Oh Pain!

I think this month is the worse month ever.... every weekend I got down with something! The first weekend I got light (luckily) fever and skin rash due to the bugs, then I got toothache, and when I finally managed to pull off my courage to visit the dentist (IIUM Clinic), those dentist is off to a course! OMG!!! what am I going to do?

Luckily the clinic (the main one) provide me some painkiller (Prostan; which I just found out having too many side-effect and yet an excellent painkiller), mouth-wash and antibiotic pill.. which the doctor give me just enough to last until Monday.  So I took the medicine faithfully while praying to Allah that I won't be having any of those horrible toothache (It's horrible I tell you, the cartoon about a devil pounding nail into your teeth is not a joke.. that is how exactly I felt, even sleep can not put those away)

So I ate those medicine, it is quite okay until yesterday when a rash break-out on my skin. I was like OMG!!!! What the heck had happened to my skin?? There are red rashes on my back and on my chest area!! I was nearly freak out because I had shingles before, (kayap; though I did not have any feeling of itchiness when I got it) however my friend assured me that it is just a normal rash, Fuh!!

Back to the story, my friend asked me whether I had any seafood, but I don't think I have eaten anything that can cause any itchiness. Then I mention to her that this happened about half and hour after I took my Prostan and Antibiotic and she told me that our friend, Masha also having the same problem and she 'diagnosed' (she is a teacher to-be not a doctor to-be, kay) me as having antibiotic allergies / drugs allergies. I was like, huh! but then that might be true, since I never take an antibiotic before... luckily I have some medicine such calamine lotion, clarityne tablet, piriton tablet that help to curb the itchiness. I took the medicine and pray for the best. and as long as I don't touch those itchy areas, I will not be tempt to scratch it..

Looks like I have to visit the clinic again tomorrow. I don't want to go if possible, because, then I will get a second reminder for not bringing the picture for my medical check-up card! Too much trouble... well just wait until tomorrow and we'll see what is going to happen..

p/s I might not need to pull out my teeth but just cement it. But then, it is a torture compare to the other option....

Book of the Month

Currently I'm hooked with Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Her books are sooo good... (Take notes romance addict out there). Among my fave is Heaven, Texas.  Among the titles are Ain't She Sweet, Match Me If You Can, Nobody Baby But Mine and What I Did for Love

There are of course all those S** things it the book however those scene are not been explicitly told in detail ( unlike some other book that can go up to five page for that scene only!). To tell you the truth, what I really love about her writing was all those battle of seduction that been going on between the main characters (before you-know-what happened he..he..). That is so kewl....

Beside that, it also told the story from the P.O.V of the leading man (really this is a bonus you know. Especially since I love to know what is going on in their mind...he..he..)

Her books are basically about the battle of the sex (okay not that freakin' S** but gender OK!! though it also have those things.. OMG!! Obscenity is so unbecoming me) The men usually a jerk (like they haven't been like that all the time) and the woman will then have to prove themselves to them and end up falling in love with the men but the men (being a jerk as usual) doesn't believe in the family institution (or love for that matter) which lead the woman to leave him, and in the absent of that woman, the men come to realization and began to beg the woman to come back to him... (feminism.... but I really like it compare to those other woman in other story who rather let them been trample with.. what the heck was that...)

It can be quite tear-jerking nearing the end and I cried for all her four books that I have read so far... (no worries though... it's all happy ending.. It have other subplot (meaning other couple been formed along side the main) however it did not been to much focused on (though I prefer if she made another book for those couple... I can't help it.. they are just so amazing.....)

So for those who are interested to read her book what are you waiting for, go to the bookstore and buy a copy of her book... For more info, you can log on to her website at http://www.susanephillips.com/books.html
